Bill Gruenert, 84, passed away in his sleep Monday morning, March 30, 2026. Bill loved his wonderful life – he had two amazing careers, each spanning 30 years. The first was as a graphic designer, where he had the pleasure of designing the Target logo and the entire subway signage system for the Sao Paulo, Brazil airport. At the age of 50, he joined the PGA (Professional Golfer's Association) where he taught folks from all walks of life – young, old, beginner, and professional. Golf had him from the moment he picked up a club at the age of ten! He also won several tournaments and sported the trophies that came along with the bragging rights.

Bill leaves behind his wife, Leigh, and his two sons, Wood and Vaughn. He's probably already chipping and putting in heaven, and perhaps even sponsoring celestial tournaments for all the golf buffs who have preceded him.

We miss him so, and his memory lives on through all of us who knew and loved him.
