On November 12, 2025, Toren Heald, 54, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, formerly of Woodinville, Washington, passed away unexpectedly in Nashville. He faced every challenge with resilience and humor, remaining a warrior until the very end, with his beloved wife Andrea by his side.

Born on March 22, 1971 to Cheryl Morgan and Robert Heald, Toren grew up in the Pacific Northwest with a deep love of the outdoors. He graduated from Woodinville High School in 1989, where he was remembered fondly for driving a Joe's Ice Cream Truck and bringing joy to countless classmates and neighbors. He also worked as a ski instructor, sharing his passion for the slopes with others.  After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving honorably as a Boatswain's Mate Third Class during Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Toren's professional journey began in logistics, but in 2002 he discovered his true calling in real estate. He launched his career at Prudential MacPherson Realty in Woodinville, WA, where he earned Rookie of the Year honors. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Wedgewood Realty, and he later pursued his passion for craft brewing with Blue Lightning Brew. Ultimately, he returned to real estate as a Managing Broker and Instructor at Century 21 North Homes Realty, where he taught hundreds of agents real estate fundamentals and law. Toren was a beloved mentor, known for his patience, humor, and ability to make complex topics approachable. In 2023, he continued his career at The Real Estate Office in Oak Ridge, TN, helping clients navigate every step of the home-buying journey.

Toren's commitment to community extended far beyond his profession. He served in the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years, acting as an ambassador and helping organize the city's beloved All Fools Day Parade. He even ran for Woodinville City Council, a testament to his dedication to civic life.

Friends and family remember Toren as the life of the party, always the first on the dance floor, often acting a fool just to get others up and moving. He loved the outdoors, skiing, camping and especially sailing, taking countless friends and family members out on the water to share the joy of the wind and waves. He was also a beloved Santa to children during the holidays, embodying the spirit of Christmas with warmth and laughter.

Toren's passions were wide-ranging. He wrote a local beer column, *"Beer, It's My Opinion"*, for the Woodinville Weekly, blending wit with expertise. He was an avid Seattle sports fan… SEA!!! He cherished music and the arts in all their forms. His annual backyard summer parties were legendary, filled with laughter, amazing food, music, and community.

Above all, Toren was a family man. He and Andrea shared 31 years together, building a life full of love, adventure, and lots of Nordic tradition. He loved being a father to their son Knut. It was the job he was born to do. He was a beloved uncle and great-uncle, always ready with a joke, a story, or a helping hand.

Toren is survived by his wife, Andrea, their son Knut Tonder Torenson, his father Robert, and his siblings Ben (Jorden), Evan (Annie), and Janette (Rafa), along with a wide circle of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl, and his brother, Kevin.

Toren's life reminds us that true success is not only measured in professional achievements but in the relationships, we nurture and the communities we strengthen. His legacy of humor, generosity, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew him.
