Celebrating the Life of Timothy Lee Martin

April 18, 1957 – February 3, 2026

Timothy Lee Martin, passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on April 18, 1957, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Tim was the son of James Martin, Jr. and Ann Whitaker Trice.

Tim retired from the Peabody Coal Company in Kentucky before dedicating the second part of his career as an Engineer at Trane Technologies in Clarksville, TN.

Tim was a man that lived his life at full volume. He possessed a big spirit that seemed to fill every room he entered, usually accompanied by a chorus of laughter and a "tall tale" that was probably 90 percent true and 100 percent entertaining. He lived a life full of adventure; he liked to fly planes, skydive, ride motorcycles, and scuba dive. Tim loved to grill and cook to feed whatever group of people he was around.

Tim loved his family and never missed a chance to be a part of family events. He is survived by his Mother: Ann Whitaker Trice (Nanny), his Sister, Melodie Salyer, and brother, Joseph Martin, his sons: Chris Martin, and Philip Martin, his Nephew: Jeramie Brown and wife Sarah and their children  Emerie, Oliver, and Gracie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Martin, Jr.

He will be greatly missed. Fly high, Tim.
