Staci Sheree Groves, 37, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on May 12, 1988, in Yankton, South Dakota, Staci lived a life filled with compassion, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those around her.

Staci pursued a career that reflected her deep care for others. She earned her certification as a Registered Behavior Technician and most recently worked at JoyBridge Kids in Smyrna, Tennessee. Her work was more than just a job—it was a calling. She adored her "kiddos," cherished her coworkers, and held a special admiration for her boss, Emily Grace. Her presence at JoyBridge Kids left an indelible mark on the lives of many children and families.

Family was central to Staci's life. She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Guy and Sue Groves; her partner, Lainie Davidson; her sister Sara Bastian and husband Dan; her brother Brad Groves and wife Jessica; and her beloved nieces and nephew—Kailyn Groves, Lucas Groves, and Lilianna Bastian. She also leaves behind her maternal grandparents Dee and Fritz Murrell; paternal grandfather Gary Groves; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who were touched by her warmth and humor.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Jean Groves, cousin Michael Groves and 2nd Cousin Liam Duncan.

Staci had a gift for bringing joy wherever she went. Whether donning a costume to make someone smile or dancing along to any genre of music at a concert, she embraced life with enthusiasm. Her young adult years were spent riding horses—a passion that led to adopting "Vegas" as her own. She found fulfillment in service as well, participating in two mission trips through Door Creek Church that took her to Jamaica and New Orleans—experiences that deeply impacted her spirit. Her love for New Orleans endured beyond those missions; it became a cherished tradition for Staci and Lainie to celebrate their birthdays there each year.

Among the roles she treasured most was being Aunt Cici—a title she wore proudly. Her nieces and nephew brought immense joy into her life, just as she brought light into theirs. She also treasured being a mama to fur babies Desi and Lucy who brought her much happiness.

Staci's vibrant spirit will be missed by all who knew her. May the memory of her laughter, kindness, and boundless energy bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
