Sarah "Sally" Ann Mangan Taylor, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, of Hermitage, TN, passed away on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025.
She was born Feb. 19, 1941, in Washington, D.C., a daughter of Mary Alice Huppmann and Robert Patrick Mangan.
Surviving family members include her daughter and son-in-law Susan and Gary Dale Bradford of Hermitage, TN, and daughter-in-law Deborah Taylor of Old Hickory; two grandchildren, Jason Pilote (Kristen) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Laura Dorris (Matt) of Lebanon, TN; three great-grandchildren Madeline Pilote of Mt. Juliet and Summer and Taylor Dorris of Lebanon. She also leaves behind nieces, Nancy Sorrells of Greenville, VA, Martha Walker of Bolivia, NC, and Andrew Taylor of Nebo, NC. She is also survived by her beloved dog Peanut.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband George Taylor with whom she shared her children and grandchildren, and her son George Griffith Taylor, Jr.
Sally enjoyed her family, her pet birds and dogs, her flowers, watching golf, and, most of all, her Bud Light.
There will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary of 765 Nonaville Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 (www.ofsds.org) in memory of Sally and her beloved dogs.
The family would like to thank the staff of Charter Senior Living in Hermitage, TN, for the loving care that they provided to Sally and Peanut during the last five years of her life.
