Robert Carl Pruitt of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on February 25, 2025, at Westmoreland Care and Rehab Center. He was 70 years old.

Carl is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Pruitt, Dennis Pruitt, Sonja Plowman, Winston Pruitt, Jaqueline Reynolds, Stefanie DeGelleke and Jonathan Pruitt, great-nieces and nephews; James "David" Smith, Brandie Smith, Keenan Reynolds, Zackary Smith, Quinton Reynolds, Olivea DeGelleke, Gable Pruitt, Jackson Pruitt, Wesley Gene Pruitt, Nathan Henry Pruitt, and several first cousins.

He is predeceased by his father, James Winston Pruitt Sr., his mother, Mary Etta Pruitt, his brother, James Winston Pruitt Jr., his sister, Mary Evelyn Pruitt Abshire, his brother, Noble Gene Pruitt, and his niece Jennifer Pruitt.

Carl was born on October 25, 1954, in Lebanon, TN. Carl spent most of his adult life as an over-the-road truck driver. He was a lynchpin in various family connections and always tried to stay in touch with his family. Carl enjoyed dancing, horses, fishing and traveling. The people closest to Carl knew he loved storytelling and always had a story for the occasion. Carl will be cremated at The Cremation Company in Nashville, TN.

A memorial service: a small graveyard service, with burial of his ashes will be held at a later stage. Further details to follow, in the near future.
