In Loving Memory of Patrick Neal Hampton
February 6, 1964 – August 14, 2025

Patrick Neal Hampton, age 61, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at Eaton Creek Facility after his battle with colon cancer.

Born on February 6, 1964, in Huntingdon, Tennessee, Pat was the youngest son of Henry and Thelma Hampton. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him. A proud graduate of Huntingdon High School, Class of 1983, Pat lettered in football, baseball, and basketball, and carried the same dedication and determination into every aspect of his life.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Thelma Hampton; his son, Corey Emerson; his brother, Quinton "Ghent" Hampton; his maternal and paternal grandparents; one sister-in-law; three nephews; and one niece.

He is survived by his daughter, Shayna Hampton-Mielke of Monterey, California; his son, Quinton Ladante Hampton (Jackie) of Huntingdon, Tennessee; and his seven cherished grandchildren: Laila, Bayoney, August, Shavon, Serenity, Lennox, and Elijah. He also leaves behind four brothers, Christopher Henry Hampton (Gwen), Abuyusuf El Amir, aka, Joseph Hampton, Marvin Steve Hampton, and Vincent Eric Hampton (Delphine); six sisters, Florence Bernice Love, Bobbie Ann Nash, Myra Elaine Porter (Paul), Darlene Denise Pope, Yolanda Lynn Brown (Harrold), and Monica Ann Hampton; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Pat will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and the unwavering love he carried for his family. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
