Norma Sue Barnett, 83, of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on August 9, 2026, with her daughter, Becki, and Mark Knellinger by her side.
Norma was born on January 22, 1943, in Lynch, Kentucky, to Oscar and Rachel Robinson. Throughout her life, she found joy in the things she treasured most: her faith, beautiful flowers, and above all, her family.
Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was at the center of her life, and she took great pride in the people she loved and the family they built together.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Barnett; her son, Brian Barnett; her parents, Oscar and Rachel Robinson; and her brother, Wayne Robinson.
She is survived by her sister Joyce (Mike) Moore, her daughter, Becki Knellinger; her grandchildren, Katy Moyes (Grayson), Zach Knellinger, and Timothy Knellinger; and her great-grandson, Madden Moyes.
Norma’s life will be remembered through the family she loved so deeply, the faith that was important to her, and the values she passed on to those she loved. Her influence will continue in the lives of her family and in the many ways they carry forward the lessons she taught them.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Franklin, Tennessee.
Family and friends are invited to gather to remember Norma and celebrate a life rooted in love, family, and faith.
