Margaret "Marg" Marie Hickerson

Margaret "Marg" Marie Hickerson, 67, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025.

Born on November 18, 1957, to John and Edna Ballanfant, Marg grew up with her brother John Jr. and carried with her a deep love of family throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and her beloved son Nicholas Hickerson.

She is survived by her son, Leston Hickerson, and her cherished grandchildren—Abygayle, Harper, and Ava—who were the light of her life. Known affectionately as "Nana Rie," she embraced her role as grandmother with warmth and joy, always ready to spoil her "grandbabies" with love, laughter, and countless memories.

After many years of dedication to the insurance services field, Marg retired. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her sense of humor, and the comfort she brought to those around her.

In keeping with her wishes, no formal service will be held. Her family will carry forward her memory in the love she gave and the lives she touched.
