June Oxford, 82, passed away on June 2, 2025, in Nashville, TN. She was born June 23, 1942, in Niagara Falls, NY. June was a longtime resident of Cape Girardeau, MO and moved to Gallatin, TN in 2018. June dedicated her life to the nursing profession, having graduated from Genesee Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. Her career spanned nearly five decades, showcasing her profound commitment to caring for others. Her compassion and dedication were evident both in her professional and personal life. She retired from St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO in 2014.

She is survived by her children, Andrew Oxford of Carpentersville, IL, Carrie (Brian) Gray of Gallatin, TN, and Kathryn (Tim) Metheny of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Andrew Oxford, Jr., Corinne (Matthew) Ghergia, Ryan (Emily) Lindsley, Keller Gray, and sister, Ann Bindert of Rochester, NY, and many beloved nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Oxford, her parents, Doris and Leigh Auchmoody, and her sister, Gail Hays.

A memorial service for June will be planned at a later date.
