Julie Ann Wirgau, age 54, of Westmoreland, Tennessee, passed away on June 24, 2025in her home. Born on October 26, 1970, in Franklin, Kentucky, Julie lived a life marked by deep faith, fierce love for her family, and an unapologetic authenticity that made her unforgettable.
Julie was the beloved daughter of the late Jack Johns and his wife Brenda Johns, and of the late Loretta Meador. She is survived by her siblings Barry Johns, Joshua Johns, and Gabriel Smith, and was preceded in death by her brother Charles "Chuck" Borders.
She was a devoted mother to Nicole Givens, Jessica Hodges, Desara Eaton, Alex Eaton, Paige Wirgau, and Brieana (Tyler) Rye. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Ethan and Haden Hodges, Carson Hoskins, Sadie Hinkle, Jensen Rigney, and with the late Arlis Dykes, as well as the many honorary babies she claimed as her own and loved just as fiercely.
Julie's heart and soul belonged to her best friend and life partner, Jerry Hodges, who stood beside her through life's joys and challenges.
To know Julie was to be seen, loved, and often lovingly teased. She was sweet and funny, unfiltered in the best way, deeply thoughtful, and unshakable in her faith. She was passionate about God and family, two pillars that guided everything she did.
Julie will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be planned and announced at a later date. Her family appreciates the love, prayers, and support during this time.
