Joyce Perry passed away peacefully in her home on November 10, 2024. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She spent many years living in Mount Juliet, Tennessee where her family and friends were around her.
Joyce was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired from Carrier Corporation after 20 years of dedicated work. In her spare time, she spent many hours cross-stitching and other crafts. She was a dedicated player of Lord of the Rings that she played with her brother Jim.  She was always supported by her Best Friend Judi Goss for 40 years plus, always been by her side.  She was very involved in children's and grandchildren's lives and took a role in anyone life she came to meet.

Joyce grew up in Toledo, Ohio with her mother and father Virgina and Richard Thompson. She grew up alongside her brother James Thompson and sister Barbara Anderson. She went to John Overton High School and then went to college at Northeast State Community College for Computer Programing. Joyce and her husband Will raised three children, Jacqueline, Jeanette and John, in Tennessee. She watched her children turn into parents with 6 grandchildren and then her grandchildren turn into parents with 5 great grandchildren.

Joyce preceded in death by her father Richard Thompson, mother Virgina Thompson, granddaughter Jenifer Hart, Husband Will Perry, and brother James Thompson. She lived alongside her eldest daughter Jacqueline Elmore and Douglas Elmore. Jacqueline children are Phillip Carlton, Jenifer Hart, and Kevin Hart. Douglas Elmore stepfather Jenifer Tillman, Rayvn Drake, and Madison Elmore. Phillip's child's name is Jurney Carlton. Kevin's children's names are Knox Hart and Braxton Hart. Jenifer Tillman's child's name is Ariel Tillman. Joyce's middle daughter Jeanette Neely and her husband Gene Neely. Their children are Joshua Miller, Michael Neely, and Scott Neely. Gene Neely stepchildren Justin Neely. Joshua's children are Braxton Miller and Bailee Miller.  Finally, her son John Cornelius.

Joyce Perry asked for no funeral or memorial of life. Her family and friends ask that any arrangements or cards be sent to 100 Southwinds Drive, Hermitage TN 37076
