Jeffrey Dean LeJeune, 60, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away on April 29, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, after a courageous battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma. Though cancer may have taken his body, it never touched his spirit.

To know Jeff was to know laughter, kindness, and the genuine warmth of someone who truly never met a stranger. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone he bumped into at the grocery store, Jeff had a way of making you feel seen and heard. His sense of humor and big heart made every conversation feel like catching up with an old friend.

In the late 90s, Jeff moved to Nashville, where he made his life, became an integral part of his church family, and built lasting friendships. It was in Nashville that he met the love of his life, Karen, and together they raised two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Hailey. His love for his family was unwavering, and his pride in them was evident in everything he did.

Jeff's faith in God was the cornerstone of his life. Through every high and low, he leaned on that faith and shared his light with others—not by preaching, but by living with integrity, compassion, and grace.

A proud Louisianan at heart, Jeff had a deep love for the culture and food of his home state. He found joy in a good crawfish étouffée and always kept a little piece of Lafayette in his heart, even as Nashville became his second home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Myrtis LeJeune, and his brother, Paul Michael LeJeune. He is survived by his wife, Karen LeJeune; daughters, Ashley Gallagher (husband Alex), and Hailey LeJeune; two brothers, a sister, numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends who became family over the years.

Jeff's legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on June 1, 2025, at Montgomery Bell State Park Lodge from 1–4 PM. All who knew him are welcome to come together to remember his life and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alive Hospice in Nashville or Tennessee Oncology.
