James Alton Ragland, age 65, of Clarksville passed June 17, 2025.

He was born August 9, 1959 to parents Martin E. Ragland and Anna G. Ragland. A lover of music, James could often be found drumming on any surface available to him. His passion for music was matched only by his strength and resilience as he overcame numerous medical hardships in life while keeping a smile on his face.

He is survived by daughters Jennifer Evans and Joanna Katz, brother Victor Ragland, and sisters Diana Isbell and Donna Oldham.
