Derek Vicchitto passed away on February 2, 2025 unexpectedly at the age of 47, in Hartsville TN.

Derek was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and was an Ojibwa treaty Indian. Derek became a member of Shirley and Stephen Vicchitto's

family in 1980.

Derek is survived by his three siblings, Tammy in Connecticut, Nancy in Canada and Chris in Pennsylvania. Derek will be missed by many family members and friends.

Derek spent most of his growing up years in Connecticut and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Derek enjoyed

learning to swim with the Seymour Wildcats and in later years enjoy much success in Special Olympics.

On March 1st there will be a Remembrance Gathering for Derek held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 10am. Location Relief

Society Room, 2800 Christie Dr., West Plains Missouri. This will be a special time where stories, testimony and memories of Derek and his life

will be shared.
