David Raymond Pitts, 71, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026 joining His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David touched a lot of people through his working career and otherwise. He was the owner of David Pitts Electric, where he built a reputation as one of the best— known for his work ethic, quality and reliability. David will be remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help others, and the love and pride he had for his family. He was a very proud father and grandfather and cherished the time he spent with those he loved.

David is survived by his wife, Debbie Pitts; his son, Jacob (Leah) Pitts; his stepdaughter, Amanda Conner; his grandsons, Henry and Lincoln Pitts; his step-granddaughter, Kenzi Conner; his mother, Martha Nell Pitts; and his siblings, Dennis (Karen) Pitts, Daniel (Carla) Pitts, and Karen (Mark) Thompson, along with extended family and many friends whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Pitts, who was deeply loved and cherished. The two have reconvened in Heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Real Life Sango, 3575 Sango Road, Clarksville, Tennessee 37043, in the Worship Center. At 5:30 Jacob Mooreland, Jacob and Leah’s pastor and friend, will speak. Following, there will be an opportunity for any family or friends to say a few words.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
