Amy Ambrose passed away on October 6, 2026.

Amy enjoyed the simple things in life, especially spending time with her family and those closest to her. She was an avid collector of many things, a movie enthusiast, and an animal lover. She also enjoyed trips to the beach, tie-dye, and spending time outdoors. Family was especially important to Amy, and she considered many people part of her extended family.

Amy is survived by her life partner, Carl Hendricks; her children, Michael Beard, Heather Hendricks, and Reghan Ambrose; her grandchildren, Aydan Beard, Ethan Beard, Adeline Beard, and Malakai Lackey; and her sisters, Jennifer Legon and Shannon Ambrose.

She also leaves behind many other children and grandchildren whom she loved as her own, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Amy will be remembered for her love of family, her unique interests, and the many relationships she built throughout her life.
