Amanda Leann Duvall passed away on Friday, May 9th 2025 at aged 41. A native of Kenosha, WI, Amanda spent many years living in New Orleans, and currently resided in Nashville, TN.

Amanda was an avid reader, crafter, and cook. Her infamous chocolate chip cookies and handmade crocheted blankets will be family heirlooms for generations to come. She loved K-pop, historical dramas, and the simple pleasures in life (like enjoying a cold beer on a hot day). She valued peace and quiet, but also cherished spending time surrounded by family and friends.

Amanda is described by all who knew her as a "safe space." She was an amazing mother, auntie, daughter, sister, and friend. She prided herself on being a maternal figure to all who needed her, and always made time for those close to her. She could unfailingly be counted on to answer the phone, whether that meant offering wisdom, a shoulder to cry on, or a joke to lighten the mood. Her notorious sense of humor could bring light to any situation. Not to mention her ability to endlessly see the bright side made her an invaluable person to have in your corner. Her acceptance of others knew no bounds, and her legacy will always be defined by love, support, and joy.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ellener Sepulveda, her paternal grandfather Charles "Chuck" Lumley, her aunt Gloria Wilson, and her rescue pitbull Katherine Bonerchamp Marvall whom she frequently described as her "soulmate".

Amanda is survived by her sons Gabriel (Ashlee) Duvall and Oliver Duvall, her parents Sara and Thomas Lumley, and her siblings– Jason (Priscilla) Duvall, Josh (Lisa) Lumley, Jacob (Heather) Lumley, Melissa Martin, and Emily (Anna) Lumley,  her life-long friend & companion Vincent Tobias, her "bonus children" Swan Martin, Teddy Martin, Sully Martin, Sophia and Gavin Tobias, as well as countless nieces and nephews. That is to say nothing of the countless people who considered her their honorary "person," whether that meant best friend, sister, or mom.

She was an irreplaceable woman, and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
